Merry Christmas to all

All good things come to an end? (Begin with the last blog and work up)

Our summer ended with the Father & Sons overnighter.

They had a "zipline" which Nathan was all too willing to try.

And this is why it isn't a Mother & Sons. Notice the safety device!
We also had visitors move in. Wasps!
And then it was back to school; not so good for two little lonely brothers.

My sentiments exactly!

We ended the "summer" with a raingutter regatta. Blow, Evan!
I thinks he gets his hot air from my side of the family. Hmm.
Sweep, thanks to Uncle Mark for his wonderful boat making skills!
Gabby and Jake even came to help our family cheer on our favorite boater.
Ben has a friend, Carsen who is 6 and a dwarf. They are great buddies. Carsen was making sure that Ben was ready for the prayer. We love these buddies!

Still more summer fun!

We love this place! These are falls in Rocky National Park caused by a dam that broke. Fun to climb, play in and photograph.

We always camp here with cousins. It makes it extra special.
There are actually skiers that hike to the top of this glacier and ski down as far as they can and hike back out. They were up there this time. Crazy, man.

More summer fun!

We had fun planting our garden:

6 tomato, 1 jalapeno, 1 green pepper, bush beans, snow peas, squash and

a few marigolds to keep the tomato worms at bay. Ugh!

We were even treated to the unexpected visit from our friend "Slim". Notice how someone is missing?
He was busy planting his own garden! Thank goodness for Clorox!
He has done a tremendous job with his watering chores. My how our garden grows!

Summer fun

We started the summer off with a bang, alright. Evan put so much time and thought into his car that it backfired! He did a fine job, though.
Can you guess which one is his?
Yup, the one with the bullets. It even met the weight standards.
Our home teacher is a night watchman at the temple. He gave us a private tour of the grounds one Sunday evening. He shared some very interesting stories about his experiences on the temple grounds after dark. He was even kind enough to take this adorable family photo!
